Goal.com: What do you do when you are not playing football?
Nirmal: I like to spend my free time with my family and friends. Besides that I like listening to music and watch movies.
Goal.com: What kind of music do you like?
Nirmal: I like to hear Nepali music because its makes me feel that I am still in Sikkim but I also listen to Hindi and English songs.
Goal.com: Your all time favorite movie?
Nirmal: Shaolin Soccer
Goal.com: Your favorite Bollywood actor and actress?
Nirmal: My favorite actor is John Abraham and favorite actress is Katrina Kaif.
Goal.com: If you were not a footballer then what would you have been?
Nirmal: I think I would have been a businessman.
Goal.com: Who is your role model?
Nirmal: I grew up being a fan of Bhaichung Bhutia so I want to be like him because he has done a lot for Indian football.
Goal.com: Your favorite club?
Nirmal: Manchester United
Goal.com: And who is your all time favorite player?
Nirmal: Rio Ferdinand
Goal.com: Which sport you like the most other than football?
Nirmal: I used to play volleyball for my house in school so I like volleyball. I also like a lot of indoor games.
Goal.com: Talking about house, you were in which house in school? And what is your favorite color?
Nirmal: I was in the green house and my favorite color is black but I like navy blue also.
Goal.com: Your favorite dish?
Nirmal: Kheer made by my mother.
Goal.com: What kind of dress you like to wear?
Nirmal: Casuals
Goal.com: Your favorite holiday destination?
Nirmal: I would love to take my family to Malaysia.
Goal.com: Your favorite one liner?
Nirmal: I am what I am.
Goal.com: What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Nirmal: My strength is that I have a lot of guts so if I believe in me that I can do something I am sure I will be able to do it. My weakness is that sometimes I get excited and make mistakes.
Goal.com: The most memorable moment of your life so far?
Nirmal: It was during my trip to South Korea with the academy.
Goal.com: The things without which you cannot live?
Nirmal: My family, friends and football.

Nirmal: Friendly.
