Gangtok: Sikkim Assembly Speaker Mr. K. T. Gyaltsen visited his constituency, 23 Syari, Wednesday along with Secretary RMDD and other officials and representatives from P.W.D and Roads & Bridges Department.

There he visited present Nandok BAC office. There he said construction of the Block Development Office should be completed as soon as possible. He noted that the contractor has agreed to complete the office by December 2009 according to his direction.

He requested P.W.D engineers & officials to complete the Nandok road, the road from Saramsa to Nandok Secondary School & Nandok monastery road on priority.

The Speaker also requested Secretary R.M.D.D to provide a playground for Nandok Secondary School, Pabyuik (Naitam) Secondary School, and Lower Syari School. He visited the Shiva Mandir at Saramsa. He also drew attention of the Secretary to shortage of water supply and requested the engineers to visit the panchayat wards and to estimate for drinking water requirement. (With IPR input)
